Question on Cool Edit 2000
I've not done any recordings in 3 years but today decided to give it a try
again. I've recorded about 30 minutes from a radio station and now can't find how to play it back. Cool Edit shows progress through the recording but no sound is heard. I have the master Win98SE control set to show: Volume Control, Wave, SW Synth, CD player and Line In; all are set to mid scale. Other programs have adequate volume but I can't seem to find a way to get sound from Cool Edit. Any help would be appreciated. |

As I can verify from some embarassing personal experiences, it's easy to overlook noticing a checkmark in the "mute" boxes. Take a quick look. Allen |

Allen Mee too Allen, and it happened again. :-[ I didn't find a mute button but your reply caused me to re-read the Help file and then to try something new. There's a "loop playback" for when you block a particular section, I tried that on a short section and a few seconds later there was music! Seems impatience is another virtue that I still don't have, Cool must READ the file in order to play! So another "mystery" of life is solved...again. :-D Thanks... |
