NERO - Soundtrax
Anyone use this and Nero Mix?
Looked at it for a friend and noticed Nero Mix has a straightforward file save - drop down box has LAME MP3 in it and it saves it in MP3 format that is playable in Win Media player. However SoundTrax which he wants to use has a bizarre un-intuitive save box. It has target save file or something - a dropdown box that has several choices. Itll have options like this in the dropdown box ---- save as AIFF, AAC, MP3 save as MP3 PRO All that in each line is ONE choice and you type in the filename. So I assume you type in the name and TYPE of extension and it somehow automatically by that saves as a MP3 or AAC. Eg. "song1.mp3" typed in by the user as the filename with save as AIFF, AAC, MP3 chosen in the highlight box saves it in Mp3 format. The problem here is WMedia Player doesnt recognize the MP3 file at all. Theres nothing in the manual about it .
