memory question
Want to upgrade memory in Presario 2172us notebook. Want to use same brand.
Would prefer to buy memory before opening machine. Does Compaq use one brand . Is there a way to find out Thanks

Is there a way to find out Thanks Compaq uses memory from several manufacturers in their laptops, they just throw their own P/N label on it and call it their's. Go to www.crucial.com and look up your system, their memory is guaranteed to work with your model Presario. Regards, James
