Default Strange inCD behaviour

I copied some files to a CD I use for general backups etc, using
ahead's inCD on my Teac CD writer, dragging from one of my HD folders
to the inCD CD folder. But instead of it actually copying the file,
say D:\Docs\Example.gif, it produced a sort of 'ghost' file, which
Properties says is in this Location:

C:\Documents and Settings\Terry Pinnell\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

The same happened with several other files. Mixture of WAV, GIF, WMA.
Yet this was strangely inconsistent. Some files dragged across, like
C:\Sundry\abc.TXT, were treated properly, and their properties were
correct, with location T:\

Seems most bizarre. What can be happening here please?

BTW, when I tried reading this CD on my wife's LiteOn writer also XP
Home, also under inCD), those strange files were not even listed.

OK, sorted myself thanks. Realised a little later that I had the
option 'Enable CD recording on this drive' set on the CD's
Properties|Recording tab. Strange how it still copied some corrcetly
though...
