Of course, it's Halloween!

Hi, Just trying to install a brand new drive. I used WD's Lifeguard
Utilities to format and partition. All went well except for three
problems.

1: When I boot, I see black screen with the following words in white:
E-Z BIOS - Boot Loader Initializing - Hold Control Key for Status
Report or to Load From Floppy Disk. Takes forever before it goes into
its usual boot function.


2: The WAIT key that comes on before the drives are recognized, also
takes forever to go away before continuing booting.

3: Task Launcher Bar is BLACK. Never saw that before. I can load items
onto the Launcher, but they're not too clear.

Is this really because of Halloween Goblins?
