NeroVision Express is a SCAM!!!

Agreed on the compatible of AVI files be compatible with all software when
there are so many variations of AVI file. Personally, I try to convert them
to MPeg2 and go from their. Even then they do not always look right.

Mini-dvd is just a type of disk. And Nero is saying it cannot convert the
avi to the correct format. The question then is what format are you
converting to?

The type of disc you are trying to burn is irrelevant. It is the format of
the data that is at issue. As I have already explained thare is a variety of
AVI formats and Nero's conversion is a tad pedantic about the format it is
able to convert. Use one of the suggested sources to produce a format that
it can handle correctly.

NeroVision Express v.2 that ships with V6 of Burning Rom is a bit fussy, but
the latest update (v.6.0.3? I think) from www.ahead.de seems much more
stable and forgiving of different AVI codecs (XVID, DivX etc.) - I've burnt
a few video DVDs since uorgrading without incident. The other bit of
software I've found to be quite good is Ulead VideoStudio SE DVD (it came
free with a firewire card).
