Default Sequential compilations - retrieve each data bundle?

Nero 7 does not supply the tool needed to access earlier burned files. In
Win XP, device manager, hardware, CD/DVD drive properties file shows
volumes, and offers to "populate". But it doesn't pop; gives only the most
recently burned
files. I don't know the correct terms to use in a google search.

With Win 98, or maybe it was with software with an earlier version of Nero,
it was easy to access any bunch of files.
Nero has not been very helpful in the past, so I ask here.
Suggestions for software to enable acces to all groups of files would be
much appreciated.

With Nero multimounter you can select any session and make it accessible
in Windows Explorer: Right-click a CD drive and choose Properties. Click
'Volumes' tab in the Properties window and then select the session you
want to access.

ftp://ftp9.nero.com/attach/
Multimounter_2K_XP.zip
(Be sure to read Readme.txt for install instruction.)

Another alternative is IsoBuster to view or extract the files in a
particular session.

Many thanks, smh. I'll install isobuster. The nero folder "neroCD2K.SYS" is
nowhere on my system. Am running Win XP Home, SP3, and Nero 7 SE, Home
essentials, bundled with the Memorex multi purpose drive. That, I guess. is
the reason for the absence of the folder and of course the *.inf file needed
to install the driver. Would you suppose that Nero could find a way to
install the required Nero driver and the CD2K.SYS folder? It takes a long
time to settle matters with Nero email help. You probably know about the
various versions and could save me much bother, in the likely event that
Nero is helpless in this situation.

The "populate" gives a summary of volume - (logical) disc - information.

Many thanks, smh. I'll install isobuster. The nero folder "neroCD2K.SYS" is
nowhere on my system.

NeroCD2k.inf will do the copying:
Right-click NeroCD2k.inf and choose Install.

(The following assumes that you installed Nero in the default
directory.)

Copy NeroSHX.DLL, Multimounter.reg and readme.txt to:
C:\Program Files\ahead\Nero

Right-click readme.txt, select 'Open With' and select Notepad.
Right-click MultiMounter.reg, select 'Open With' and select Notepad.

In readme.txt/Notepad,

then replace [Nero Folder] with
C:\\Program Files\\ahead\\Nero

Highlight C:\\Program Files\\ahead\\Nero in the above and press
Control-C (for copy).

In Multimounter.reg/Notepad, highlight [NeroFolder] and press
Control-V (for paste).

@="[NeroFolder]\\neroshx.dll"

The line should then read:

@="C:\\Program Files\\ahead\\Nero\\neroshx.dll"

[File, Save] and exit Notepad. Double-click Multimounter.reg.

Right-click CD drive, Properties. Volumes tab will lists all the
sessions

Note: There might be bugs and that might be the reason Multimounter is
not readily available. Watch out for some problems, especially with
winxp/sp3 which I hear has some compatibility issues.

Thanks again for your detailed reply. I still can't find the file
NeroCD2k.inf , or its folder. Probably a deficiency in the software, thus I
may need the non-SE, or regular Nero App.
The Isobuster you recommended works perfectly. There I see all my
compilations.
To my great surprise, Nero responded iimmediately, but the representative
doesn't seem to have noticed the question I raised about SE program's
possible omission of the needed *inf and other files.
I'll post again if it developes that Nero has a fix just for me.
Regards,

Multimounter_2k_xp.zip:

liesmich.txt
lisezmoi.txt
MultiMounter.reg

NeroCD2k.inf ===

NeroCd2k.sys
NeroCd2kUninstall.inf
NeroCo.dll

readme.txt

Recommend that you don't install Multimounter if IsoBuster gives what
you want.

I suspected as much. You were reading and yet it seemed you were not

get offended.

But, as they say, all's well that ends well ?!

All's well, no offence at all, grateful for details, useful info.

BTW, and sorry to continue, probably not necessary, but still don't have
the file "NeroCD2K.SYS" along with "NeroCD2K.inf " in the folder
"WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS ". The readme directs user to find them there.
Should I create a folder for them in Drivers, place the there from the
uzipped Multi file, and proceed from there?

Unzip Multimounter_2k_xp.zip in a new directory, named like
"Multimounter_2k_xp". Go into that (unzipped) directory.

=== Right-click NeroCD2k.inf and click 'Install'. ===

The 'Install' will copy (and add some registry entries) the following
two files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCo.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\NeroCd2k.sys

(The 'Install' does not copy NeroCD2k.inf.)
