Default Athlon 2500 being reported as 1900 please advise

When I clock my system to 11 x 2000 it boots to the windows screen and then
re-bootsSys Info as follows:



Athlon XP 2500+
Asus A7N8X Deluxe mother board
BIOS Phoenix Technologies LtD
ASUS A7N8X2.0 Deluxe ACPI Bios Rev 1006
Radeon 9600XT Graphics


CPU Type = AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1900+
CPU Speed = 1470 MHz
North Bridge Chipset Vendor ID = 10de
North Bridge Chipset Device ID = 1e0
North Bridge Chipset Revision = c1
North Bridge Chipset Drivers Version = 5.1.2600.0
North Bridge Chipset Drivers Date = 7-1-2001

Your FSB is set to 133MHz (133 x 11 = ~1470).
Default for the XP2500+ is 166 MHz FSB. Change it in the BIOS.

It does that as a safety measure. It was unstable at 200 (not 2000) FSB so
the BIOS re-sets itself at what is a safe speed for any XP Athlon (133MHz)
so you can get back into the BIOS and set it at something more reasonable,
or raise vcore, or whatever.
