XP Pro Downgrade crapware to remove
So far, removing everything "Microsoft" except the C++
distribution leaves the machine working. (In add and remove programs) -- On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk. |

Okay, now I understand. Silverlight is not needed for anything except Microsoft stuff. .NET is a misnomer if there ever was one, because it provides software developers with application programmatic interfaces to write software that talks across the internet AND/OR even runs all alone there on a Windows computer with no connection to the outside world. (Examples: the otherwise excellent CDBurnerXP, AMD/ATI Catalyst) Windows Live is Microsoft's attempt at cloud computing. Did you ever see Windows DEAD??? Microsoft never advertises it like they do Windows Live. Windows DEAD is any one of a number of BSODs. .... Ben Myers |
