Default same printer model with different report fit

I recently installed an upgrade of our applications that used a newer
deveopment vrsion of Crystal Reports. Landscape reports that fit fine
on our HP Deskjet 6122 printers now have some data cut off on the right
and left sides. If I adjust the report and all is well on my printer
and then run the same report on a different computer using the same
printer model and computer operating system, Windows XP Pro, the report
does not fit as well. The report definition and database are on the
server. This is very strange! Any suggestions will be greatly
appreciated.

I'd first check to ensure the same version of the print driver is being
used on both systems. If that checks out, check the print driver
settings (margins, options, etc.). Next, since you've already
confirmed that the report software version and OS version are
identical, I'd switch the printers and see if the problem follows the
printer, or stays with the computer.

If it follows the printer, it could be that even though they're the
same model, they may have different firmware version (internal code in
hardware), or have their firmware programmed differently. For example,
one printer may be set up for A4 by default, and the other as Letter,
perhaps through a 'country' setting.
