Default SVP and eBuyer Divx players

I see that SVP are selling a Lite-On Player and eBuyer are doing the
UMax/Yamada Dvx-6100. Has anyone bought Divx player and can they comment
on supplier/hardware?

Would like to add that I had a problem with some CDs from SVP and they
sorted everything out very quickly and satisfactorily. Dare I say I
have never had a problem from ebuyer, so I'll buy from either of them or
somewhere else if recommended.

Thanks

Just to echo that. I bought a DVD writer from SVP a few weeks ago, which
turned up faulty (wouldn't recognise DVDs). SVP picked it up at their
expense and supplied a replacement very quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to use
them again.

Regards

Jeff

I can't comment on the hardware but as for the supplier I can't fault them
in any way !!
Buy with confidence!

The LiteOn DivX DVD player SVP are selling is absolutely diamond. We bought
one a month or two ago. It plays all the bizarre formats of VCDs, SVCDs, and
DivX's we throw at it.. also plays CDs full of JPEGs, MP3s, and so on. Has
slots so you can put CompactFlash/SD/etc media in to view pictures straight
off. Really clean interface, and doesn't seem to skip a beat. Well
recommended.

There'a a really long review of it on the Web, do a search for the model
number and 'review' on Google.

Thanks and I have read that review but the SVP player is £120 incl VAT
whereas the Yamada DVX-6100 is £87 incl VAT.
