Default which connection

I have an LCD monitor and I am wondering if there is any benefit to
connecting it with the DVE cable as opposed to the standard video cable.

Some say DVI gives a sharper image but I've never noticed it. One benefit
to using DVI is that you don't have to adjust your screen settings at any
res as it will always be optimal. I would use the DVI.
