Cannot install MMC 8.8

as I always get the message that an older version is installed.
I tried to install MMC 8.7 - which worked. I removed MMC 8.7 in
System/Software an with 3 different registry cleaners and regedit.

MMC 8.8 still does not install, see above.

Can anybody help and tell me which files of registry settings have to be
removed.

My system: Win XP Prof.

I think the uninstall in MMC 8.7 is screwed up.

I did eventually manage to do it but I'm not sure if I can remember how.

Have you tried "ATI Software uninstall utility" in Add/Remove programs??
