How to burn a CD to include album art and other files?
To clarify an earlier question I asked, how can you burn a CD
compilation so that 1) the album art shows up on Window Media Player and 2) other image or text files can be included that are accessible on a computer. What if you want to include a video file like many of the commercial CD's? I have Nero 6, as well as some video and audio apps if needed - Cakewalk Home Studio 2, Pinnacle Studio 9Pus, Soundforge 5. Thanks |

Thanks You need to burn it as a mixed mode cd. google mixed mode cd authoring. As for the album art, im fairly certain windows media player and other programs connect to the online CDDB srevers to look up album art info. the image isnt from the cd itself. |

Mike Richter, were you born with "Scam Artist" emblazoned on your face? -------------------------------------- http://tinyurl.com/6eldj (No Pipsqueaks have been able to prove ANY of the above is a LIBEL) ( -- despite Mikey claimed to have PROOF of libels & misquotes! ) Doc wrote: To clarify an earlier question I asked, how can you burn a CD compilation so that 1) the album art shows up on Window Media Player and 2) other image or text files can be included that are accessible on a computer. (AFAIK, WMP only displays album art - as thumbnail image - when the album art is named 'folder.jpg'.) If you just want to play audio in a cd player and save the album art, burn as Enhanced CD, Mixed-Mode or CD-Extra. WMP will not show album art with these. For VCD/DVD players, you can make a slideshow with background audio with Nero Vision Express: How to use NeroVision Express 2...to create a SlideShow http://www.nero.com/nero6/enu/631956523192996.html For video files, check out Make CD (Video CD) or Make DVD (DVD-Video) of Vision Express. (Pinnacle Studio should have the above functionalities.) |
