It doesn't even support single channel memory. There is no memory
controllers in the K7 CPU's. The memory controller is what must support
the memory channels, and the memory controller is built into the chipset
of K7 systems. Nvidia's NF2 Ultra supports dual channel, and I think VIA
has one that supports dual channel, but don't recall which one. It was not
in KT600 or prior chipsets for sure. Dual channel on the K7 is about
worthless unless you have builtin graphics to use the second channel. The
reason it doesn't help in other situations is simple because all ram data
must go over the FSB which is a bottleneck with only a 64 bit data path
compared to 128 bit of dual channel. I think this explains it pretty good
in simple terms. Others are welcome to expand on this.

Thanks.

Any Procesor supports Dual Channel memory. What matters is weather or not
your Motherboard supports dual channel memory.
