Default New to ATI

Hi all, i have just bought a laptop which is equiped with an ATI Mobility
Radeon HD4530 512mb card. Being my first ATI card i was wondering how i tell
the installed driver versions?? Does installing the latest Catalyst also
install the latest video driver too??

Thanks.

Open Catalyst Control Center, click the "Information Center" Tab. That will
give you all your driver info. If you want to update your drivers, make
sure you un-install current drivers first, reboot, then install new drivers.
Too many problems reported when users try to install over other drivers.
Normally with laptops, the drivers are specific to each brand, so you will
probably need to visit the website of your laptop maker to get video
drivers. Some people update drivers every time there is a newer version. I
usually stay with a version that does everything without issues, then only
upgrade if I need newer version for a specific program or fix. That's just
a personal preference thing.
