Default Any larger SCSI drives coming on Dell Servers?

I forgot to visit Dell at CES. Does anyone have any word on larger SCSI
drives coming on their systems any time soon? Even a server with 8 drive
bays with 300GB drives would not be enough. Physical space is extremely
limited. Any word on when larger drives (e.g 500 GB) might be coming?

Thanks

Haven't seen anything about SCSI drives at greater than 300GB. I think
most people who would need this much space would be looking at SAN or
NAS based solutions.

I agree; Sun has some excellent storage solutions (but they'll cost
you). We had a Sun 9990 at my previous job pushing well over a 100TB
(http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub...9990/spec.html) which is
nowhere near its capacity (we used 146GB drives); the scary part was, I
didn't even work in the production environment, I can't imagine what
they used there.
