Wireless Optical Mouse and Keyboard with Belkin Omniview SE KVM
The OmniView SE doesn't handle the Intellipoint driver very well beyond just
the wheel on the mouse. Also, the newer Intellipoint drivers don't seem to work at all with this unit or my unit is going bad, I haven't done a lot of testing to see which. One of the newer USB KVMs would probably work better if all of your computers will support a USB keyboard and mouse. If so, you'll want to make sure that "Legacy USB" or something similar is turned on in the BIOS before you do this. -- Wayne Morgan "Stephen B" wrote in message ... I asked this in the microsoft.public newsgroups for hardware, but no response as of yet. Has anyone had any experience with using the Wireless Optical Desktop suite with a Belkin KVM switch? I've got an Omniview SE 4 port unit. It supports my wired PS2 Intellimouse Explorer Optical just fine. Any issues I should be aware of using a wireless combo through a KVM? Thanks, -steve |
