HP 840C not receiving print instructions.
Gretings
Without any obvious reason, my HP 840C no longer responds to print commands. If I go into Settings, Printers and check the only printer I have (840C) , there are no documents in the queue, and the pause and cancel commands are not ticked. It seems when I use the print command, nothing ios going to the printer. I would be grateful for any suggestions. JD |

Most of the time that would handle your problem. |

JD Does the printers intenal test page work (press the resume button [the bottom button] for about 5 seconds)? If it prints the internal page OK then try a different parallel cable if possible. Also if you using XP try a system restore to a point before the problem started.
