Default Novatech retailing Dell TFTs

I was surprised to see Novatech retailing 18" Ultrascan Dell TFT's
(http://listserve.novatech.co.uk/t/12129/1313386/343/0/) - at decent
prices -when Dell are warning of delays on orders specifying 18"
Ultrascan TFT's.

I am guessing that the lower-than-dell pricing is because these are an
old model, rather than because they are shifting second-grade stock.
Anyone any experience of these screens, or any insight into the basis
of the deal - have Dell moved into supplying peripherals via retailers
as a general policy perhaps?

Hi!,

Glad I spotted this thread this morning

WAS planning to buy a 17" for around £240+VAT but these seem a real bargain

Have just ordered one from novatech. Hope to have by the end of the week

Reports on these monitors seem to show its a really nice bit of kit - I hope
they're right

Cheers

dell ARE moving into home entertainment stuff like LCD tv's, but that's not
why these are around. aria also have them: dell overbought and are getting
rid of excess stock via retail channels. for what it's worth, they're meant
to be *excellent* value for money.
