Default scorpio wd hd

I recently got a western digital 500gb scorpio hard drive for my
laptop that I've installed bootit ng on. I've found a lot of websites
I get timeout errors and have to press F5 to refresh when I'm using
internet explore/firefox or google chrome. This is a dell laptop and
have run the dell hardware diagnostic and didn't find any problems
also ran malware bytes and it didn't find any infections. I've also
used a new installation of MS Vista and had the same problem. I'm
thinking it has something to do with the new harddrive since my old
120gig drive didn't have these problems. Other then the timeouts the
hard drive works fine and is fast transfering files.

Any ideas what might be causing this? maybe there is some
configuration I need to do on the hard drive.

Thanks,
Chris

Very unlikely its the hard drive with a symptom like that.

Much more likely to be a coincidence, something to do with the
new install on the HD or the net access has gone bad coincidentally.

There's no hard drive config that will produce a symptom like that.
