I don't see anything about P/N. Didn't Everest used to be free (no

I don't think so. The P/N is on the sticker on top of the disk.
Maybe you can query the warranty status on the Seagats support
site with the S/N and get the P/N displayed.

As I suspected the warranty status page does not need the P/N
but lists it in the results:

Default Is there a way to find out Seagate HDD's P/N without looking atits physical drive?

Seagate can't do anything right nowadays.

My next batch of render farm will have Samsung and Hitachi HDs instead
of Seagate and WD. I am talking about 100 machines, each having at
least 5 HDs.

Not much in the whole scheme of things, but that's 500 less headache
for me in the future.
