VP6 Windows XP SP2 HPT370 Drivers
I am having a hell of a time installing a driver for the HPT370. I
got the driver from Highpoint but I get this message when trying to install. "The inf file is missing a line, this may be because the driver you are trying to load was written for windows 95 or later" Device manager lists it as a SCSI and RAID Controllers / Mass Storage Device. Any clues as to what to do? Thanks for any help |

Any clues as to what to do? Thanks for any help This is what I did bro. Download v2351 drivers and put them on a floppy Install windows Xp with SP2, press f6 when asked to install addtional raid driver. Insert floppy. select the windows xp driver, it will continue and then tell you it cant find the right files. Press skip to all the files that it cant find. Continue with the windows installation. Upon first boot check your device manager, you should see that RAID Controller is not installed properly. Insert the floppy with v2351 drivers on it and do the following Right click the yellow (htp100 raid device) select update driver Update wizard comes up and select "No, not this time" Click Next Select "Install from a list or specific location" Click Next Click on "Dont search, I will choose the driver to install" Click Next It should show the Raid device, Now click Next and find the inf file in the floppy. Select it and reboot. You should be good to go after that. Hope this works. Btw you should be on 2.3 Raid software also. |
