CD writer troubles

I am having trouble writing to disk. i have a Phillips pcrw1208 12x
when trying to write to disk (MUSIC, DATA AND COPYING) i get an error
message telling me that there is no blank media in the drive which is
wrong as i just bought new disks thinking that my last bunch were
faulty =( i have tryed nero 5 and 6 and easy Cd creator 6 as well
and all produce the same result!
ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS??????????

apart from get a new One =)

Try updating the drivers at the Philips web site. (Philips is spelled
with one "L", by the way.)
