Presario 5070 Quick Restore problem??
Just having my very first hands-on with a Compaq 5070. OS (Win98) was full
of holes, so time to use the Quick Restore disk. All went as planned right thru the final boot of the Windows. Only problem is the Win Explorer doesn't seem to be working. Click on "My Computer", or any of the desktop folders and all I get is a quick flash of the hourglass. That's it!. I did do a start in safe mode and everything is working just fine there. Does anyone have any ideas what to try in this situation? TIA Tom in Mt.
