BIOS Problems
Try taking the ram out and booting.
Of course it shouldn't boot. But then turn it all off, and put ram back in. See if it resets itself to 266. Or you may have a bad bios. Maybe you could re-flash it. But that may cause more problems if it fails to flash. Maybe put a different stick of ram in too. LrT On Fri, 06 Jun 2003 04:16:07 GMT, "AG" wrote: Of course I HAD...to fool with the BIOS. I overclocked the board (KD7 from266 to 333 ) & it would not boot. I cleared the CMOS jumper, disconnected the motherboard power supply & removed the battery. But, now when it boots up it shows memory clock is DDR 200. I dont have DDR 200 & the system just hangs here.....any advice besides STAY OUT OF THE BIOS?? Thanks AG |
