Default problem with ic7 max advance 2

maxtor, ofcourse....been harvesting ebay for 200gig 7200rpm ata133 hd
kits(don't care for the promise card it comes with, going to get siig
addon cards instead, but the kits offer better protection of the hd
than other hd deals on ebay)

What makes you so sure they are ATA133?

Only Maxtor makes ATA133 drives - all other are ATA100.

Anyway, you'll probably _never_ see a difference in performance, so why
is this a problem?

show up as ata100(i used new, unformated drives for this
test, used 80gig and 120gig, will test with 200gig hds later today.

Which brand?
