Default Side Band Addressing - Enabled or Disable

I`ve never been able to get my MSI TI4200 to run AGP 4x just downloaded Ray
Adams nvidia BIOS editor and it reports my MSI Ti4200 has SBA enabled - I`m
thinking of flashing with the nvflash utility to disable it to see if AGP 4x
will run.

Check your mobo BIOS settings first. If a card won't run 4x AGP is
usualy the mobo BIOS settings or you need to flash to an updated mobo
BIOS. What utility do you use to confirm AGP opperation (Rivatuner,
CPU-Z (formerly WCPUID), etc.)? What OS? Did you check to see if a
registry setting is turning off 4XAGP? How about mobo chipset drivers?
Are yu using the junk off the Win9x/2k/xp install CD? If your chipset
is VIA, get latest 4in1 - now called hyperion - drivers for your
chipset. In the "early" days of 4X, the Geforce cards had AGP issues
with some mobos:. upgated chipset drivers fixed that.

Also, just because the card has sidebanding doesn't mean the mobo BIOS
supports it in which case it's "off". Remember, the OS and game see the
the drivers (car, mobo, OS HAL) and not the card.

NEVER flash the vid card until all other options exhausted.
