Default How to read Netvault backup without NVDB ??

Hi all
Can anyone make a response for this problem:
How can I read LTO backup tapes obtained with Netvault,without the NVDB
(Netvault dataBase)
The Netvault server is Linux, the client is Windows 2000

I try to use cpio ... No result ...
