Bios flashing a 9600
OK, my system:
Intel 3.2 P4 1GB Kingston PC3200 ATI Radeon 9600 Pro running latest Drivers from ATI Windows XP Pro SP2 and all patches 80 GB Sata 160GB Sata 120GB IDE 160GB IDE LG CD-RW MSI CD-RW/DVD LG DVD-RW Antec Power supply Runs like a champ and I have no problems with it. But, I've been reading about the ATI X800 and found Toms hardware talking about how I could flash the bios of my 9600 Pro and it would re-activate some pixel pipelines. So, my questions 1) How do I make sure my card would be able to do this, if it would give me any increase worth bothering. 2) Where would I find the bios or software utility to do this flash/overclocking (or both). Thanks for your responces and if your inclined Happy holiday's to you and yours. |
