This group used to be and is (at least in theory - if a bit empty / dead at
the moment)... great fun and interesting..


.... where has all the chat of old gone... ebuyer... vs. xyz.... returns
vs. mis-described products... great deals... terrible stings... lol...


.... where oh where... is that great chat and have you all gone!

Internet retailing grew up and became responsible, and those that grew
up here went on to better, bigger and brighter things - or became eBay
merchants...

OTOH, with the exception of custom gaming rigs, PC's aren't special
enough anymore and plain vanilla has gained general acceptance, any of
which can be obtained adequately dressed from the local supermarket in
the geezer cabinet.

And then, we have the long and protracted death of usenet. Even
retailers have their own on-site forums. Have a problem with an item
purchased, and that's the first port of call to raise hell.

But ye knew all that, and are in morning.
