Actually, no...the discs are all 4x and the burner 8x.

The 8x applies to "R", not to "RW". Still, most, if not all, 8x burners
support 4x "RW".

Go here and double check 4x DVD+RW is indeed supported by your burner
(input brand name and model number in the search box):

Also check the users' media report and see if your brand of dvd+rw is
mentioned.

As with your incd issue, something must be conflicting with DLA. cRoxio
junk is usually bad news and Intel application accelerator is supposed
to be incompatible with DLA. Anyway, I am not that hot with DLA
anymore. Since Sonic revamped their site after the Roxio purchase, the
supported drives page is disabled. Try work out your incd issue, like
not doing simultaneous multiple operations. Always wait until the drive
activity light stops blinking before initiating another operation.

Good, sound advice...I'll keep this inmind along with your previous tips.
