Push out the little pin in the center of the fasteners.
The pin is nearly invisible, but you can se it from the inside.

It's also practically impossible without removing the psu and/or DVD
drive. They seem like a neat method of connection but they've cost me
hours bitching about trying to get them out.

I stopped using my top fan and covered the hole - this was after I
discovered not a single degree's difference in case system temps
between having the fan running and not. Haven't done any o/cing though,
guess that might change things.
