does crucial memory come with lifetime warranty? if so how can i "use this
warranty" through the retailer or through crucial themselves (believe they
operate under the name micron yes?)

The retailer warranty is only a limited-time warranty,
varies per retailer (or country) as only their typical
warranty per *any* item.
