Default Packaging damaged

I just received a shipment of 25 PCs on pallets. Some of the boxes at the
bottom of one of the pallets are broken (crushed byweight of PCs above).
Checked inside one of the boxes but no apparent damage to the PC.

Nevertheless, this is a problem, as the storage qualities of the box are
poor. Also, if I want to sell on, these boxes are sub-standard.

Any suggestions? I don't want to make a meal out of this, but I would like
some new packaging sent out.

BTW, I signed to say that some of the boxes were damaged.

That's true with small parcel carriers like UPS, but when it comes to LTL
(less than truckload) pallet carriers like Roadway, Yellow, Conway, USFC,
etc. it's a whole different story. I take it the pallets were shipped as LTL
freight? It's absolutely acceptable to mark an LTL delivery receipt as
receiving partially damaged freight. I do this all the time. Some LTL
carriers will want to know the exact extent of the damage and won't allow
the receiver to write an "open ended" comment such as this, but if the
driver allows the comment (or doesn't give a **** in most cases), then the
claim is perfectly acceptable.

Post which LTL carrier it was and I can pretty much tell you how they will
respond to your claim.

In most cases you should not have accepted delivery, now YOU have to deal
with it. If you refuse delivery THEY have to deal with it.
