Default Difference MSI and NVIDIA-generic driver?

What is the difference in drivers provided by MSI and by NVIDIA?
Version seems to be similar (44.03), but MSI driver is a little bit
thicker... (18,8 Mb to 22,5 Mb).
Is it possible to install MSI driver over existing Nvidia generic
driver?

(MSI Geforce 4800SE, model MS-8894)

Do not know for sure but it'll probably have some "advertising pictures" in
it from MSI (logos and stuff), and it may have some goodies, like an extra
systray icon for configuration (this is the case with Asus). But usually,
drivers from the different brands have built in them the generic drivers but
have a very small risk of being a little bit "buggier", allthought that
would not keep me from using them.

Yes, if You first UNinstall the NVidia driver. This is always necessary if
You change drivers!

Greetings,
René
