Options for poutting toegther a mp3 jukebox that can me controled remotely?
There are a couple of options from Creative Labs that would suit what you
want to do. There is an internal sound card option, and an external USB option. The internal option would be a SB Audigy or Audigy 2 Platinum. These include a front mounted interface with extra inputs as well as an infrared remote. You can find more information he http://www.americas.creative.com/pro...category= 461 The external option is called the Extigy. It is similar to the Audigy, only in external, USB connected, form. More information he http://www.americas.creative.com/pro...category= 462 Both have fairly comprehensive infrared remote capabilities including full control of the included "Creative Play Center" software. The Audigy 2 Platinum has slightly better sound quality than the Extigy because it is a newer generation, but they are both quite good. The Extigy retails for $149.99 and the Audigy 2 Platinum for $199.99, though you may be able to find one for less online. Hope this helps. Drumguy "Randy" wrote in message ... Ok I'm looking to get my first shuttle which will be used both as my main PC and a jukebox for my MP3 collection. What options, if any, are available for being able to remotely control music playing, volume, skipping etc? Thanks, |
