I phoned every dealer listed on the product locator that was within 50 miles
of me.
Most were totally clueless. Comet....PC World(don't stock any Sony
monitors)...The Link(a mobile phone company?) even the Sony Centres in
T.Park and Altrincham were hard pushed to know wtf I was on about.
The closest I got was Selfridges. They reckon they "might" be able to get
one by Thursday !
Is it any wonder that we will all be buying our products online within 10
years. Retailers just have not got any idea.

I was looking in there a few weeks back and noticed them.

You should be able to find the phone number on the sony site to make sure
they do have some in. The guy in there said they were selling as fast as
they could get them in.
