Help with shutdown
I have a Compaq Presario 1600 XL-145 running Windows XP Pro. This may seem
quite odd, but it shutsdown whenever I use the T or the Y buttons on the keyboard. It doesn't do this when I hook up an external keyboard though. Would this mean that the keyboard is going bad or is there something else going on? |

Well, I finally figured out that they must be shortcut buttons because they
shutdown and start the notebook. The only thing is, I can't where to shut that feature off. I've checked in BIOS and can't find anything and checked in control panelkeyboard, there is nothing in there to control it. This notebook originally came with 98 on it and there are only updates for win2k that are supported. If anyone knows where the control for this option is, could you please help me?
