Default Replacing Processor Fan on WorkStation 350

I need to replace the fan on the back of
a Dell WorkStation 350. It's the fan that
cools the processor using that plastic duct.
Will I be able to use a standard 80mm case
fan? That's what it looks like. How do
I remove the plastic duct from the case?
Thanks for any info you can give me.

You can use a standard 80mm case fan, but you are better off not doing so. The
Dell case fans have a proprietary 3-pin connector. You would need to solder it
onto a standard fan. Don't waste your time. Buy a Dell fan from either Dell
spare parts or on eBay. The Dell 80mm fans are interchangable among Precision
340-and-up, Dimension 2300-and-up, Dimension 4400-and-up, Dimension 8200-and-up,
and Optiplex 240-and-up towers... Ben Myers
