Default Monitor

Anyone know how I can share the same keyboard, mouse and monitor between
two PCs? Can I do this with software or do I need hardware? Thanks.

Buy a KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switch. Get a real one with mouse
and keyboard emulation, not one of the ultra cheap ones that don't do
this. I'm using one right now. There's quite a range of features with
these. You can get more expensive models with sound and usb, or just
the basic ps2 models that you have to use usb-ps2 adapters if your
keyboard and mouse are usb. Also, if you have a keyboard with special
function keys, some KVM switches may not emulate these, like the
inexpensive Linksys KVM100SK switch kit (it comes with a pair of KVM
cables, which you'll need) one I got from buy.com (also seen on
amazon.com). I got a second hand Sitecom KVM switch and it sends through
the special keys from my logitech wireless keyboard!
