Default Bios for P5W DH Deluxe

Hello, All!

What is the preferred, stable bios for the board (using a E6750 CPU)?

Thanks,

Colonel Blip

Isn't that a 1333 FSB CPU? The P5W DH is a 1066 chipset, so
you'll have to overclock the mobo to get it running at full speed.
I'm running an E6600 overclocked to 3.4GHz and it's as stable
as a rock with a little boost to vcore and DDR voltage, so you may
be in luck.

Have a look through he

You are correct. As soon as I get past the BIOS update I'll move on to the
OC activity. Thanks for the links.

BTW, my current BIOS is 2302.

I've got a couple of these, and have been relatively happy with the
latest two or three revisions, prior to that there were some odd quirks
that would prevent certain options from functioning.

I haven't overclocked this board, and can't in the summer due to the
higher temperatures in my office, so I can't comment with regards to
that area.

I've had the P5WDH since it first came out.
The first cpu that i ran on it was the E6600 with it's x9 multiplier and as
you had it running at 3.4GHZ.
I have aslo ran a Q6600 successfully on it and also the E6750.
The E6750 has a multiplier of only 8 and because my FSB maximum stable value
is the same as it was with the E6600 it only oc's to just over 3.0GHZ on my
board.

I have another board , an ASUS P5E that can overclock much better than the
P5WDH with the newer cpu's.

I am using ver.2602
The reason being that it was the most current back in January when I put in
the E6750.
