HDMI to HDTV
I want to show jpeg photos on my plasma HDTV. I can do this using the
HDMI output port on my Nikon D90 camera, and the HDMI input on the HDTV, but the slideshow and photo editing options are very limited. I am considering buying a Dell laptop with an HDMI port, with photo editing/slideshow software, but I am not sure how well this will work. None of the available screen resolutions exactly matches the 1920 x 1080 HDTV resolution. The closest laptop screen resolution is 1920 x 1200, but (a) that is not an exact match for HDTV, and (b) text is going to be very small on 15.4 inch laptop screen at that resolution. Are there any other issues I should be thinking about? Any advice would be appreciated. |

You can use both at independent resolutions. |
