Who the hell are these people? I've never done business with them, yet
they are sending spam to one of my proper email addys.

Glad to see you posted this. I've just been spammed by them too. No clue
where it came from - they've used my personal address, not a
supplier-tagged one I normally use.

Me too; they appear to be a legitimate business, which means they
bought our addresses from someone.

Although all of the links in the email refer to
zebracomputers-marketing.co.uk, not zebracomputers.co.uk

The phone number is the correct one, though...

Zebracomputers-markting.co.uk is just a sacrificial domain from which
the emails are sent. That way, when it gets blacklisted for spamming,
neither kt8 (the email campaign software) nor zebra are effected.

Well you can certainly include me in the we. I hate unsolicited mail with a
passion. I actively fight against it and sometimes it can be quite fun
listening to them sqirm and grovel when you call them on an 0800 sales
number and start quoting laws at them (passes the spare time which I
obviously have plenty of).

Well we differ, because I don't, hence why I don't want to be included
in the "we".

Genuine marketing mail from companies who send me information about
things I might be interested in doesn't bother me. I've actually gone
ahead and purchased stuff off the back of such; Serif is one such
company I'd had no dealings with, who I then bought (and have continued
to do so) software from after receiving advertising from them.

So long as said company offers me the option to say "no more thank you",
I don't have a problem with it. It's easily deleted.
