The information describes the type of stop error, where it might have occurred and perhaps even the system file that is related to it. Just what are the top 4 or so lines of the blue screen? And also what OS? |

Clay,
As Mistoffolees says, a little more info won't hurt. Model & Version of Motherboard. CPU make, model. Bios settings: have you loaded defaults and is that what you are running off? If not, what are the settings then? Memory: Make model, speed, size # sticks, slots etc. Graphics card: Make, Model. You can prepare by going to http://www.memtest86.com/ getting memtest86 and running it for a minimum of say 2 full cycles. It should not report any faults. If it does, then there is a memory issue. This will take quite some time - leave it over night. BSOD info can be very helpful, but if you have memory problems (often due to BIOS settings), this can cause *any* type of crash. - Tim "Mistoffolees" wrote in message ... Clay,
This is not normal, my P4C800-E works great never crashes. You cannot expect for people to help you when you tell them nothing about the error, computer or other variables. What is your hardware? What exactly does the error entail? Did you change any BIOS settings? "Clay" wrote in message . com...
