Default gateway yak

hi all kind and gentle persons,
I got hold of an old gateway lc-2 (p3-667) but no driver cd.
can anyone please help me out as i would really like to get it going
properly.
the modem, graphics adapter and sound drivers are what i need but a
lend of the whole cd would be really appreatiated(sp?).
gateway don't support downunder anymore so we are really left out in
the cold.
thanks,
franco

Try driverguide.com, they have a bunch of drivers for all kinds of
hardware, but they wont have the whole cd for from Gateway. Become a
member its free. And if you know the hardware idens, ex: ATI Radeon
7000 or Soundbraster Pro.. etc. Try that and if you find the driver,
download it extract it and use windows device manager, right click
properties on my computer clcik the tab labeled hardware, i think it
has been a while since i used win 2k pro, then clcik device manager.
hope that helps, otherwise upgrade toi windows xp or just get a new
system they are really cheap. If you do get a MSI mainboard i have
them and they are great and give you a good product w/ a chaep price.
best of luck.

Gees windows/gateway/computers is/are crap arn't they.
thanks any way,
franco

Well, no they don't. You just don't have the driver CD, and Gateway
probably has them impossibly buried on their website. Also, in all my
experience, driverguide.com has had their own files to download, so
why you would be directed to Gateway site, I don't know. Maybe you
click wrong thing?
