Default Smartgart Tab

Everytime I update my Catalylst drivers I lose the Smartgart Tab in the ATI
control panel. I need this tab to disable AGP fastwrite (I can't in my
BIOS). Could someone please help. I've been having the ATI 'Infinite Loop'
problem assosiated with Intel's E7205 chipset on my motherboard and
disabling fast write helps.

Did you uninstall the previous drivers, or at least the control panel,
before updating? Not doing so seems to be general cause of this problem. If
you still have the problem, after one of these, you may need to uninstall
the complete driver set and then use 'driver cleaner' from
http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/.

I don't know what OS you are using, but I am pretty sure I disabled it
for good in Windows 2000 Pro by disabling the service (located in the
control panel somewhere, I think, "Administrator Tools", then
"Services").
