Default UK Petition re chipped cartridges.

For simplicity the title says ban chipped carts,

*That is what the communists do.* The mfg can make it how they see fit
and you do not have to buy it. That is free enterprise.


No, what you defend is what monopolists do, no competition. People
should be free to buy junk ink.

You need to look up what the word means. Here you have 3 main companies
that produce inkjets: Epson, HP and Canon and a couple more if you
consider what Brother and Lexmark are. I think that is a Quintopoly.

It was a joke. Of cause, thats capitalism, people are free to buy junk
cars as well, junk food anyway. Rockefeller in China and antitrust laws
in the US. The petition does just that. The market will regulate it.
Horizontal deregulation, thats what the petition is meaning and thazts
what you dont understand. It has nothing to do with socialism.
