I have voiced opinion in the past of when I thought ebuyer was improving too, so I am not completely one sided. Also I am not foamy mouthed, nor fixated and I don't have a hatred for ebuyer either, I just think consumers deserve better than what ebuyer thinks of as "service" and am of the opinion that their stock quality is poor. The personal standard I expect from any retailer happens to be higher alot of folks who frequent this group. And who am I to argue with those people who accept substandard service in return for low prices? They are as equally entitled to their opinion as I am. Unlike dotcon who has a one-sided foamy-mouthed fixation and hatred for ebuyer, what you will get from me is reasonable and fair advice - like I said, sorry to appear cruel but you haven't followed the returns procedure. I bet if you did you would be sorted out without a hitch. Try it and see, then report back here (you see, what usually happens is people gripe about a vendor here and we never hear the outcome... the reason being that their 'problems' are usually sorted out satisfactorily in time) Just pay the £27 and see ebuyer in small claims court. It'll solve the problem alot quicker and ebuyer will be made to pay your £27 back when you prove how useless they are when it comes to returning DOA items. Yup, why bother sticking with a simple procedure when you can go to court instead. Ebuyers only problem here is that they wont bother sending a rep to court to explain why Andy never followed their really easy procedure to return a DOA item, thereby winning the case and causing Andy to lose his £27. Lets all just cut out the middleman and go straight to court every time we receive a DOA item. Any vendors out their should follow dotcons sensible advice and just stick a link to the court service website on their RMA request buttons. what a prick, unfortunately for dotcon, the number of complaints about ebuyer is falling all the time here, so he clutches at straws with folks like Andy to continue his rabid obsession. Don't fall for it. g. You're the prick Freddy. Actually no, a prick is just an insult - describing you as a moron would be more accurate, if you believe what you type. There is no excuse for the behaviour ebuyer continues to practice, if the posts on here (backed up by my own experience) are to be believed. And, as for your statement that most contributors on this group do not post the conclusions to their problems because they are resolved correctly by the vendors. I believe that is likely to be incorrect. Post proof of your evidence, or stop making stupid statements. |

Don't fall for it. snipped ============== It's quite possible that the number of complaints posted here has fallen because Ebuyer have been sued by so many people that they've begun to get their act together. I never posted my complaint here but I did sue Ebuyer successfully. They paid up 3 days after receiving my County Court summons. I accept that any trader (online or otherwise) should be given a proper chance to sort out mistakes but I don't believe that we should be held to ransom by traders who take our money and fail to complete their end of the bargain. Just my tuppence worth. Cic. |
