I've been trying to recover some data from a laptop drive (DJSA-210).
Unfortunately last night I was poking around blind because I didn't
have access to a web browser at the time. It turns out, looking at
the drive data sheet, that at some point (whilst trying to slave the
drive) I jumpered what is labelled as A4 "Never jumper this pair".
Now the drive is unresponsive. Have I blown it completely,

Most likely the logic card, anyway.

or is is it possible to revive the drive?

It may be possible to swap the logic card from an identical drive.
